MCPs are a $50 Billion Opportunity
The Missing Layer in AI’s Future: Why MCPs Will Power the Next Generation of Intelligent Agents
One of the startups that was standing out the most last YC batch was Den. Den is kind of a Notion with AI. Investors were crazy about it and they had their round oversubscribed way before demo day.
However, we are not going to talk today about Den, but rather about what makes Den possible: MPCs.
It just happens that Den is kind of an interface for another company: Klavis AI.
When I met the founders of Klavis I was blown away:
Zihaolin and Xiangkai were best friends since highschool. Xiangkai built the first version of MCPs at Google Gemini before they were created and experienced first hand the problems MCP had.
And they decided to build Klavis to help every AI company with them.
This article is written by them to explain how big this opportunity is.
Enjoy :)
Hey, welcome to The AI Opportunity!
This is the newsletter that surfaces what’s really happening in the AI market before it hits the front page. Every week you’ll get two things—fast:
What’s happening now (and where the money’s headed).
Who’s already building it (so you can invest, partner, or steal their playbook).
Each issue is short enough to read with your morning coffee but dense enough to move your roadmap.
However, most of the content from this newsletter will be only accessible to the paid subscribers.
